New Delhi, India, December 08, 2014: Amira Pure Foods Private Limited, a part of the NYSE-listed Amira Nature Foods Ltd. (NYSE:ANFI), announced the launch of its new range of premium organic products. The company has tied up with 7500 farmer families to cultivate 12,000 hectares for multiple organic crops.
Amira Group, which has created a name for itself in the premium Basmati segment in India and abroad, has decided to further increase its product portfolio with organic products such as organic rice, lentils & beans, flour, spices, oil & ghee to the Indian consumers. These products will be made available across all retail platforms in India.

Organic Food has no pesticides or harmful chemicals. These products have longer shelf life and tastes better than non-organic food. These NON-GM crops are completely traceable from folk to farm. The Amira range of organic products was launched at the BIOFACH event, the largest organic food show in India, held at Kochi in the presence of Union Agriculture Minister, Shri Radha Mohan Singh and Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Oommen Chandy.
