Amira Recognized for Best In-Store Visibility, Receives Award for Best Own-It Execution Supermarkets by Aditya Birla Retail – One of the Largest Supermarket Chains in India

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 2015-- Amira Nature Foods Ltd (NYSE: ANFI), a leading global provider of packaged Indian specialty rice, was recently recognized by Aditya Birla Retail Limited (ABRL), the retail arm of the business conglomerate Aditya Birla Group, for best ‘in-store visibility.’ The Best ‘Own-it’ Execution Supermarkets Award recognizes Amira’s strong visibility and presence in the More retail outlets, operated by ABRL.

ABRL is one of the largest supermarket chains in India with more than 500 stores under the More brand banner in two formats, Supermarket and Hypermarkets. Amira began its relationship with ABRL in 2009 and it has expanded its product offerings over time, currently providing a broad range of Basmati rice and other organic food products to More stores across the country.

Amira has successfully achieved widespread distribution and retail visibility of its products across India.
